Chiropractic Care
Dr. Mudrak is a doctor of Chiropractic and graduated from NWCC, Northwestern College of Chiropractic (now Northwestern Health Sciences University).
Chiropractic Care addresses the bio-mechanical integrity of your body's structure. That is how your bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons all work together to create smooth, pain-free function.
When those relationships become compromised through injury, stress, or other factors, traditional chiropractic addresses those issues. Following appropriate assessments and testing, Dr. Mudrak uses several techniques to restore pain-free motion:
- Diversified Manual Technique (DMT) - manual spinal adjustments
- Thompson drop-piece adjustments
- Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT) - gentle balancing the relationship between the sacrum (base of the spine) and the occiput (base of the skull).
- Activator adjustments - to precisely target joint alignment.
- Ultrasound
In addition to traditional chiropractic, Dr. Mudrak teaches stretching and spinal stabilization exercises to her clients so that they can maintain the corrections made in the office with at-home care.
